People always say travel now, because when you have kids you won’t be able to travel again. My life forever changed when I had my children, but my life did not stop. Travel is a passion of mine, and I want to share that with my children.

While my children may not remember the early years of travel, that isn’t the point. I travel to build their hearts, not their memories. When I see their eyes light up at new scenery, food, language or faces, it is in that moment that my commitment to travel is validated. Travel teaches us so much more then a book ever could, be it patience, bravery, acceptance, self-discovery, independence, and flexibility. The best part of traveling is what lives on in our hearts from the experiences and not in our minds as memories.
